Preparing Teachers for Project Based
The above link is to an article that is a pointed discussion about why teachers need to teach this way.
What I have noticed so far:
1. It is very threatening to examine your own teaching and even more threatening to have a "leader" either designated or not suggest that there is more that you can be doing when you are already going flat out.
2. How does one inspire when we are so short of time? What can we do to help teachers have more time to examine their practice and to change?
Questions - how do leaders lead for change? How do I ? Especially when I am one of those who feels threatened when others call into question what I am doing and ask me to change. Oh the dilemma. I don't want to be told what to do yet, that is sort of what my job is... yikes. I have a feeling that this exploration will bring about more questions than answers. Are there answers or are there more questions?
The more that you know. The more you realize that you don't know.
